Seminole State College has hired three new members of the sports coaching staff, two of which are new head coaches.

The Trojan’s volleyball team will now be led by Hannah Killian, a 23-year-old from Bentonville, Arkansas.

Hannah played volleyball at Hannibal-LaGrange College in Hannibal Missouri where she received her degree in Marketing.

Hannah also played for Crowley’s Ridge College, and then went on to be a graduate assistant at Missouri Valley College.

The Seminole State Men’s Basketball team added 23-year-old assistant coach Jayce Cravens to the staff.

Jayce graduated from Seminole high school in 2014, and then went on to play basketball at Seminole State for one year.

Jayce then transferred to Southwestern Christian University where he also played basketball. Jayce just recently graduated from Southwestern Christian University with a degree in Sports Management.

Russell “Rusty” Beene has been named the new head coach for men’s and women’s golf.

Rusty is from Commanche, Oklahoma and studied Oral Communication/Public Relations at the University of Oklahoma.

In the past, Rusty has been the Athletic Director at Seminole State College, and Fort Scott Community College.

Rusty has also been the head baseball coach at Butner Public Schools, and coached softball at New Lima.
