Amber Flores

Head Coach Amber Flores enters her 12th at Seminole State in 2024. During Flores's time at the helm, she has continued the rich tradition in keeping Seminole State among the nations best softball programs, and placed herself as one of the nations best junior college softball coaches.

Seminole State has won the Region 2 NJCAA Tournament 6 times ( 2023, 2022, 2021, 2019, 2018, 2014) and made six appearances at the NJCAA Softball National Tournament. During Flores's time at Seminole State she has amassed a record of 470-97 with a winning percentage of .829. Flores has earned Region 2 Softball Coach of the Year honors in 2023, 2022, 2021, 2019, 2018, and 2014. Flores was also named 2021 NJCAA Region 2 Coach of the Year and named 2022 NFCA Midwest Region Coaching Staff of the Year. Under her time, Flores has coached 22 All Americans and 72 All Region players. 

Prior to her time at Seminole State, Flores began her coaching career at Stony Brook University of New York. During the 2012 season, Stony Brook earned a record of 36-17-1. During her playing career, Flores was a standout player at the University of Oklahoma, earning NCAA All-American status three times, also being the first-ever two-time Big 12 Player of the Year. She is a native of Calexico, California

Coach Flores is also an instructor in the HPER department at Seminole State.
