The Belles and NOC Tonkawa gave the fans a game to remember as they extended play through a double overtime event. The first quarter ended with the Belles trailing NOC 18-20. Going into the half nothing much had changed as the Belles went into the locker room still down by two 35-37. By the end of the third quarter the Belles found themselves on top 62-54. At the end of regulation play the Belles and NOC Tied 81-81. The battle continued with several lead changes which found the opponents facing a second overtime, as the score reflected 93-93. However, the Belles were able to grind it out for a victory 103-102. Leading Scorers: Kinsey Callen 20 pts, Summer Jones 17 pts, and Tra’Chael Quarles 17 pts. Leading Rebounders: Khalan Richardson 12 rebounds, J’Sades Ainsworth 7 rebounds, and Tra’Chael Quarles 7 rebounds. Khalan Richardson also led her team in steals (5). Tra’Chael Quarles also led her team in assists (5). This win has the Belles going into conference play 1-0 with an overall record of 7-3. The Belles next contest will be a home game on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 2:00pm.
