This has been a historical season for the Trojans with an overall record of 19-0-3 and capturing the NJCAA Region 2 Championship. While competing in the Plains District Tournament with a hard-fought battle after regulation play (90 min) and 2 overtime periods (10 min each) the match was still tied. After six rounds of penalty kicks the Trojans failed to advance automatically from a 4-3 defeat. However, hope remained alive for the Trojans with having an impressive season, district tournament and #4 national ranking to possibly receive an at-large invitation to the national tournament.
Today the NJCAA announced Seminole State College Trojan Soccer team has received an at large bid to compete in the 2019 DI Women's Soccer Championship in Melbourne, FL November 18-23, 2019.
