Grant Murphey, an incoming Seminole State Trojan golfer, and his playing partner garnered a 3-1 match win over the multiple-format 18-hole Oklahoma High School All State competition held July 22 at Cherokee Hills Golf Club in Catoosa.

Murphey, representing Putnam City North, and Mason Hadley of Bethany High School defeated Justun Coyle of Poteau and Allan Kalapura of Holland Hall, and helped to fuel the West team’s 13-11 edging of the East in the Oklahoma Golf Coaches Association’s annual event matching honored high school seniors from around the state.
