Seminole State College's AJ Reed has been named player of the week following two strong performances that helped lead the Trojans two wins over Eastern and Western Oklahoma. 

in a 64-63 win over Eastern on January 27th, 2025, Reed contributed 9 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist, providing key minutes in a tightly contested game that the Trojans won in overtime. 

On January 30th, 2025, Reed stepped up with a standout performance in a 92-89 road victory over Western Oklahoma, scoring 26 points on 85.7% shooting (6/7 FG, 2/3 3PT). He also added 8 rebounds and 1 assist, while converting 8-of-10 free throws (80%) to help secure the win. 

Over the two games, Reed averaged 17.5 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.0 assists per game, while shooting 69.2% from the field. His efficency and impact on both ends of the floor were key in the Trojans' success. 

Reed and the Trojans will look to build on this momentum as they continue their season. Their next game is home against Murray State on Thursday, Feb. 5th.
