Daniel Hill enters his 8th season as the head women’s soccer coach at Seminole State College. The Seminole State soccer program has grown into a successful and nationally respected program. The foundation for the team has always been the family culture instilled in the players, and their dedication to support each other on and off the field.

In the 2023-2024, The Trojans advanced to the National Tournament for the 5th consecutive time. They also equalled their highest nationally ranking #2 in the country and a #2 seed in the national tournament. After a first game loss, the Trojans rebounded to beat Salt Lake City in the second game of pool play. The Trojans beat LSUE and Murray State in the Region/District tournament to claim their 5th Region Championship and 3rd District Championship. The Trojans finished the season with 20 wins, 1 loss, and 1 tie. On September 13th the Trojans earned the program's 100th career victory. For the first time ever two Trojans, Jada Ryan and Paige Baumgartner would bring home NJCAA All American honors, while Jada was also named as a United Soccer Coaches Association All American. Marisol Gomez was named to the National Tournament All Tournament Team. All Region II honors went to Jada Ryan (MVP), Caroline Huber, Marisol Gomez, Paige Baumgartner, and Chelsea Vilca. Vilca also became the Trojans career leading goal scorer with 35 goals in two seasons. The coaching staff earned NJCAA South District Coach of the Year honors and the Plains Region Staff of the Year from United Soccer Coaches Association. 

In the 2022-23 Season, The Trojans finished the year advancing to their 4th consecutive National Tournament. The team finished with an official record of 18-4, District finalists, Regions Champions, and Conference Champions. The Trojans beat NOC 5-2 in the Region Finals. Ayano Wyatt was named a United Soccer Coaches All American and NJCAA 2nd Team All American. All Region Team was Aya Wyatt (Region MVP), Megan Gilchrist, Jada Ryan, Natalie Montanez, Haley Lopez, Tatum Tallal, Marisol Gomez, Nanako Seki, and Shivani Battaglia. All Region Tournament team was Aya Wyatt (MVP), Jada Ryan, Natalie Montanez, Haley Lopez, Mady Castro, and Shivani Battaglia. 12 Players were named as NJCAA Academic All Americans. The coaching staff received it's 4th Region Coach of the Year honor. 

In 2021-2022, The Trojans finished the year advancing to the NJCAA National Tournament Semifinals for the first time in school history and the 3rd consecutive National Tournament. The team finished with an official record of 15-3-4, a District Championship, and 3rd consecutive Region Championship. The Trojans entered the National Tournament as the #2 seed. The Trojans advanced from pool play with two wins via PKs before losing in the semifinals. Sophie Augustin was named a NJCAA 2nd Team All American. Sidney McGregor was named to the National All Tournament Team. Sophie, Sidney, Lauren DesCamp, Natalie Montanez, Aya Wyatt, and Kiana Tulloch were named to the All Region II Team, and Sophie, Sidney, Demetria Wilson, Aya, and Natalie were named to the All Region II Tournament team. The coaching staff received the District Coach of the Year honor, and 8 players were named to the NJCAA Academic All American team. 

In 2020-2021, The Trojans finished the year with their second straight trip to the NJCAA National Tournament. This marked the first time in Region 2 history that a team went to nationals in back to back seasons. The team finished with a record of 14-1-1, a district championship, 2nd consecutive Region Championship, and 3rd consecutive OCAC Championship. The Trojans were beat in PKs to make it to the National Semifinals. The Trojans entered the national tournament with the #7 seed and finished nationals with a 1-0-1 record. Alexis Truitt was named a NJCAA Second Team All American and a member of the NJCAA National Tournament Team. Alexis Truitt, Sidney McGregor, Amaya Grace, and Juni Ejere were named to the All Region II First Team. Kayle De Leon and Lauren DesCamp were named to the All Region II Second Team. The SSC coaching staff received the Coach of the Year honor. 5 Players were named as NJCAA Academic All Americans. 

In 2019, the Trojans finished their year with their first trip to the NJCAA National Tournament, ranked as high as #4 in the national poll, and recorded a historic season along the way.  The season highlights  included a Region 2 Championship, OCAC Champions for the second straight season, a Plains District Final, and the first victory in the national tournament. Giselle Longoria was named a 2nd Team All American, 5 players named to the Region II All Tournament team, and 6 Players named to the All Region II first or second teams. Coach Hill and Coach Chely received the Region II Co-Coach of the Year Award.  The Trojans had 4 players named as Academic All Americans, Aubrey Adams, Dixie Anderson,Bianca Coleman and Juni Ejere.

In 2018 the Trojans had a breakout year finishing with a record of 17 wins, 3 losses, and 1 tie. They also won the OCAC Championship for the first time and reached the Region II Finals. Yudaya Nakayenze was named a 2nd team All American and the Trojans were ranked in the Top 20 in the national poll. The Trojans had 4 players on the All Region tournament team, 4 players named to the All Region team with Nakayenze receiving Region 2 MVP. Hill and Chely received their first Region II Coach of the Year Award.  The Trojans had 6 players named as Academic All Americans,Aubrey Adams, Bianca Coleman, Briana Davis, Daryian Francher,Yelena Martinez and Kylie McKinney.

 In 2017, the Trojans continued to build on the inaugural season. The Trojans finished the season with 5 wins and 10 losses, and had 1 player on the All Region II team. The Trojans had 3 players named Academic All Americans, Briana Davis, Daryian Francher and Kalli Jones. 

Seminole State College marked 2016 as the inaugural year for the soccer program where they finished the season with 4 wins, 10 loses, and 2 ties. Two players were named to the All Region II team.   

 Hill came to SSC from Harrah High School where he was the men’s and women’s soccer coach for 8 years. During his time there, the women became five-time district champions and three-time state semifinalists. In 2016, the Harrah women’s team won the Class 4A State Championship. Hill has also been the coach of three Oklahoma West 4A Girls All-State teams in 2010, 2013, and 2016, winning the All State game two out of the three years.

 In 2016, Hill was chosen as The Oklahoman High School Soccer Coach of the Year and was also honored as the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Oklahoma Small School Coach of the Year. Hill was also recognized by the Oklahoma Soccer Association for achieving his 100th victory while coaching at Harrah, finishing his career there with a combined 137 victories.

Hill attended Northern Oklahoma College in Tonkawa, Okla. where he played soccer in 2003 for the Mavericks. The Mavericks finished that season ranked #4 in the nation, making it to the National Semifinals for the first time in school history. From there, Hill attended and graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2007 and went on to earn his M.B.A. from the University of Central Oklahoma in 2016.

Hill and his wife, Emma, currently reside in Seminole. Emma graduated from Seminole State College in 2000.
