SSC Belles Upset the Murray State AggiesJanuary 15, 2019The January 14th, 2019 match between the Belles and Aggies found the Belles lagging behind 14-18 after the first quarter. The fierce 3-point shooting of sophomore Summer Jones allowed the Belles to remain in close proximity to Murray State 35-36 going into the half, even though three Belles were in foul trouble and the team plagued with turnovers.

2019 Belles Basketball CampSeminole State College Belles Basketball June 3-6 2019 The Belles Basketball Camp will be held at SSC's Raymond Harber Field House. The camp is for grades 3 rd through 9 th, and the cost for the 4-day camp is $60. This year's camp will be held Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with a 30-minute lunch break. You may bring a sack lunch if you wish. A concession will be provided with drinks, snacks and pizza for $1.50 a slice. Campers will receive individual instruction in basketball fundamentals to improve their game. Campers will also play in organized games each day to further their understanding of the game. A camp t-shirt is included in the camp fee. If you would like your player to attend, please complete the PRE-REGISTRATION FORM , and mail it along with a $60 check to: SSC Belles Basketball Attn: Coach Story-Schell P.O. Seminole State College Belles Basketball Season RecapCongratulations goes to our SSC basketball teams on their 18-19 seasons that ended in the semi finals of the regional tournament on Friday. The Belles ended the season with an overall record of 18-11 (9-7 in conference play). The Belles Summer Jones , sophomore from Edmond was named NJCAA Region II "Player of the Week" twice this season the weeks of October 29th-November 4th and January 21st- 27th. Summer was also named first team All-Region for Region II while freshman, J'Sades Ainsworth was named to the All Tournament Team.

Belles Win Big on Sophomore NightThe end of the first quarter of the competition find the Belles and Western neck and neck with only one point separating the two (Belles 16 - Western 17). However, solid rebounding and strong free throw shooting had the Belles heading into the locker room four points ahead of Western (32-28).
