Friday, former coach and current Hall of Fame Coach, Lloyd "Z" Simmons was honored by Seminole State.  Trojans baseball field has been dedicated to LLoyd Simmons and is now LLoyd Simmons Baseball Field at Brian Crawford Memorial Complex.

Coach Simmons, has over 1,800 wins and over 200 players drafted with a world series title win with the Kansas City Royals farm system.  Coach Simmons is currently scouting for the Kansas City Royals and still makes a way to see the Trojans.

The Trojans are currently tied for first in conference and number one seed will be determined this upcoming Monday.  The Trojans are to host the tournament which will begin Thursday May 9th.
