Powell had an outstanding season for the Trojans, hitting .502 with 109 hits and 104 RBI. In 217 at bats, his performance at the plate recorded 32 homeruns, 17 doubles, and 7 triples. Powell led his team in runs scored, hits, RBI, doubles, triples, homeruns, and total bases.

Powell was selected as the Week Six NJCAA DI Baseball Player of the Week after hitting .737 with 21 RBI, 3 homeruns, 2 grand slams, 2 triples, and 2 doubles. At the end of the 2024 season, Powell leads the nation in RBI, homeruns, and slugging percentage.

Powell has signed with Oklahoma State University to continue his academic and athletic career but is projected to be taken in the 2024 MLB Draft.
