Athlete Spotlight: Kendall McDowell

Kendall McDowell is s Sophomore baseball player at Seminole State College. He plays in the outfield and is a batter, wearing jersey number 5 & 22. This season, Kendall has played in twenty-one games so far, and has accumulated a batting average of .323, getting 32 runs, 32 hits, 18 runs batted in, 13 stolenbases, and 3 home runs. His first season at Seminole State College, McDowell played in thirty games and accumulated a .250 batting average, one home run, thirteen RBIs, and fourteen stolen bases.

Not only is Kendall a force from the plate, he also has been an amazing fielder for the Trojans. His freshman year, McDowell had 48 total chances to field and this far in his sophomore season he has had 50, racking up 98 total chances to field the baseball. In his freshman and sophomore years combined,Kendall McDowell has completed 91 outs and only 9 errors.

Kendall McDowell is from Dallas, TX, where he attended John Paul II High School. At Seminole State, he is majoring in Business. In his free time, Kendall likes to play video games with his teammates. Something that a lot of people may not know about him is that he has a twin brother. When asked what made him choose Seminole State College, Kendall said, "I chose SSC because of the awesome coaching staff and the culture of Seminole
