Seminole State Trojans Walk it off Against Cowley Community College

Seminole State Trojans took Wednesday's game one in dramatic fashion, with a 6-3 walk-off victory over Cowley Community College. The game was ties at three in the bottom of the seventh when Mackenzie Kauk doubled, scoring three runs. 

The Trojans opened the scoring in the first after Mckenzie Cothran homered to center field, scoring two runs. 

A home run by Cowleys #1 gave them the lead, 3-2, in the top of the third. 

Marrissa Frolich singled to center field, which helped the Trojans tie the game at three in the bottom of the sixth. 

Mckenna Ingram earned the win for the Trojans. Ingram gave up five hits and three runs over seven innings, striking out four and walking six. 

 

Mckenzie Cothran collected four hits in four at bats, as the Trojans deafeated Cowley 16-8. Cothran doubled in the third inning, singled in the first inning, and singled in the fifth inning. 

The Trojans scored 10 runs in the third inning. Kaitlyn Webb drew a walk, scoring one run, an error scored one run, Kaylee Sallee drew a walk, scoring one run, Jentrie Gibson drew a walk, scoring one run, Kinley Green singled, scoring one run, Kenna Maker doubled, scoring two runs, Cothran doubled, scoring two runs, and Marissa Frolich doubled, scoring one run. 

Graci Major earned the win for the Trojans. Major gave up six hits and four runs over three and one-third innings, striking out four and walking three. Morgan Curry appeared in relief for the Trojans. 

The Trojans accumulated 14 hits in the game. The Trojans will play athome on Saturday against Western Oklahoma.
